Trump's EU tariffs set to take effect

US President Donald Trump's tariffs targeting the European Union are set to take effect this week as a 90-day suspension period expires on Wednesday.

Barring a last-minute breakthrough, dozens of countries are expected to feel the impact, with an EU-US agreement still appearing far off despite ongoing negotiations.
